Saturday Afternoon Gin Tasting - Manchester and Beyond
Of all alcoholic beverages, gin has the most colourful and dramatic history. Used to treat ailments from allergies, aches and pains right the way through to the plague. Gin has come a long way! Find out lots of interesting facts about gin at this fascinating two hour tasting.
We'll be taking a look at (and smelling) a range of herb, fruits and botanicals, then taste a selection of Local, Craft and Small Batch Gins from Manchester and beyond, served with high quality tonic. We'll explore each individual gin in its neat form before opening up the flavours further with some good quality tonics and mixers.
During the afternoon, we will taste a selection of Gins, each with their own unique botanicals. We are proud to be tasting Gins distilled in Manchester and we will try them against some of the most interesting Gin's from elsewhere in the UK. Which will you pefer?
This tasting is perfect for existing Gin lovers or for those who want to learn more about this fashionable and exciting spirit in a fun, informal and relaxed environment!
