Simon's Cellar (1)
A new series of event for Manchester Wine School!
Come and meet Simon Woods the new owner of the school and see what delights he has for you to try from his own cellar!
Since abandoning a career in computer systems design in 1988 to indulge his two hobbies, wine and writing, Simon has been co-coordinator of the annual International Wine Challenge, a columnist for The Financial Times ‘The Business’ magazine, editor of the award-winning annual Which? Wine Guide as well as contributing to numerous magazines. He's judged at wine competitions on four continents and has written several books!
So after many years of wine tasting Simon has accumulated many bottles Wine and he's love to share some of them with you.
The wines will be a great selection of interesting and the unusual and there will sure to be lots of talking points!
We are running a second "Simon's Cellar" tasting (with different wines) on 22nd February. Book both tastings for the special offer price of £50 per person - Click here.
This tasting takes place in the "Front Room" at the historic Royal Exchange Theatre. We are delighted to offer those booking a 20% off drinks voucher which can be redeemed at The Rivals bar/restaurant.
Why not make a full night of it and enjoy their 2 or 3-course menu offering before or after the wine tasting? We recommend you book at table as it can get busy with theatre guests too so click here to do that and there is a reservation option at the bottom of the page.
